I wanted to discuss a quick thing that all of us Democrats here in Brevard could do to help make a BlueBrevard.
In our last newsletter, I shared an article about how social media influencers use their network platforms to amplify the governors' messages. As I read and then shared the article, I thought about how this was an excellent opportunity for democrats here in Brevard County to do the same for our party, candidates, and elected officials.
If you have spent any time on social media networks, you know that there are people there to incite anger, name-call, and disrupt what might be serious conversations. Our party, candidates, and elected officials put themselves out there with their voices and are then attacked by these people. We should use our voices on social media to support these individuals when they make their posts. That support could be commenting on their posts, showing your support, and even sharing their posts.
I would like to see a concentrated effort that uses these social networks to our advantage. So, if you're interested in helping in this effort, there are two things you can do right now. First is to sign up for our newsletter. Second, once you subscribe, join our Facebook group. Our group is where we will discuss details on how we can help spread our democratic message and show support to others doing the same.
If we put this plan in place, we can help make a BlueBrevard a reality sooner rather than later.
see ya there,
paul
